This portion of Al-Kitab takes its name from its author, Jude (pbuh). He was the brother of James (pbuh) and the half-brother of ‘Isa al-Masih. ‘Isa al-Masih was born to Maryam while she was a virgin, without a human father by the power of Allah. Later, Jude (pbuh) was born to Maryam and her husband Yusuf. So ‘Isa (Spirit of Allah) and Jude shared the same mother, but not the same father. Jude (pbuh) wrote this letter to warn followers of ‘Isa al-Masih about false teachers who were claiming to be true believers. He exposes them for what they are and reveals what will happen to them in the end. He tells the believers to stand firm for the faith that Allah has revealed in the Injil.
